Cannot find a feature you are looking for? Here's why some features may not be visible and how to access them.

Common Reasons

Feature Requires Higher Plan

Some features are only available on specific subscription plans.

Solution:

  1. Check your current plan:

    • Go to Settings > Subscription
    • Review what is included in your tier
  2. Compare plans by viewing the pricing page for feature comparisons

  3. Contact sales at sales@firebuzz.com for enterprise features not listed

Trial accounts have access to all features during the trial period. After trial, your plan determines available features.

Feature Requires Specific Role

Some actions are restricted based on your workspace role.

Role permissions:

*Admins can change Member roles but not other Admins

Solution:

  1. Check your role by going to Settings > Workspace > Team
  2. Request permission by asking your workspace Owner or Admin
  3. Request role change by having an admin upgrade your role if appropriate

You can view your current role in the workspace settings. If you need additional permissions, contact your workspace Owner or Admin.

Feature Marked "Coming Soon"

Some features in the navigation show a "Coming Soon" badge.

Currently in development:

  • Blocks — Reusable landing page blocks
  • Assets — Centralized asset library

Solution:

  1. Check release notes regularly for announcements about new features
  2. Join the waitlist to request early access for upcoming features
  3. Submit feedback at feedback.firebuzz.com to request priorities

Feature Not Visible in Navigation

A feature you have used before is not showing in the sidebar.

Solution:

  1. Check the correct project:

    • Some features are project-specific
    • Switch to the project where you used the feature
  2. Expand sidebar sections:

    • Click section headers to expand collapsed menus
    • Features like Templates and Components are under Library
  3. Clear cache and refresh:

    • Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
    • Sometimes the UI needs a refresh to update
  4. Check workspace type:

    • Personal vs Team workspaces may have different features

Feature Works Differently Than Expected

A feature exists but does not work how you expected.

Solution:

  1. Read the documentation, as each feature has detailed guides
  2. Check the FAQ sections for common questions answered per feature
  3. Watch tutorial videos that show step-by-step usage
  4. Contact support if behavior seems like a bug

Requesting New Features

We are constantly improving Firebuzz. To request a feature:

  1. Check existing requests to see if your idea may already be planned
  2. Submit feedback using the feedback form in the app
  3. Vote on ideas by upvoting existing feature requests
  4. Describe the use case by explaining why the feature would help you

Feature requests are prioritized based on customer demand. Upvoting existing requests helps us understand what to build next.
