Solutions for slow loading, lag, and performance problems in Firebuzz.
Experiencing slowness or lag? Here's how to optimize your Firebuzz experience.
Common Issues
Slow Page Loading
Pages take a long time to load or display content.
Solution:
-
Check your internet speed:
- Run a speed test at speedtest.net
- Firebuzz works best with 10+ Mbps download speeds
-
Clear browser cache:
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+Delete(Windows) orCmd+Shift+Delete(Mac) - Clear cached images and files
- Press
-
Reduce browser load:
- Close unused tabs
- Disable unnecessary extensions
- Close other resource-heavy applications
-
Try a different network:
- Switch from WiFi to ethernet if possible
- Test on mobile data to rule out network issues
For best performance, use a wired ethernet connection instead of WiFi when possible, especially when working on large projects or uploading files.
Editor Lag and Slow Response
The landing page editor feels sluggish when editing.
Solution:
-
Simplify your page:
- Complex pages with many elements can slow the editor
- Consider breaking large pages into sections
-
Close preview panels:
- Close device preview when actively editing
- Use preview only when needed
-
Update your browser:
- Ensure you are using the latest browser version
- Chrome typically offers best performance
-
Check system resources:
- Open Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (Mac)
- Close applications using high CPU or memory
For best performance when editing, use Chrome with hardware acceleration enabled and close other resource-heavy applications.
Dashboard Takes Long to Load
The main dashboard is slow to display data.
Solution:
-
Check project complexity:
- Large projects with many campaigns take longer to load
- Consider archiving unused campaigns
-
Reduce time range:
- Analytics with longer date ranges require more data
- Select shorter periods for faster loading
-
Hard refresh the page:
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+R(Windows) orCmd+Shift+R(Mac)
- Press
Real-Time Updates Delayed
Changes made by team members are not appearing immediately.
Solution:
- Check your connection, as real-time sync requires stable internet
- Refresh the page to force refresh if changes seem stuck
- Check for WebSocket blocking, as some firewalls block real-time connections
- Contact IT to ask if real-time connections are allowed on your network
Real-time updates require WebSocket connections. If your firewall blocks these, you will experience delays in seeing team member changes.
AI Features Running Slowly
AI generation is taking longer than expected.
Solution:
- Be patient, as complex requests take longer to process
- Simplify your prompt by using shorter, clearer prompts that process faster
- Check usage, as AI may be slower during peak times
- Retry if stuck by refreshing and retrying if generation takes over 2 minutes
