Canceling Your Subscription

Cancel your Firebuzz subscription and understand what happens to your data and access.

You can cancel your Firebuzz subscription at any time. This guide explains the cancellation process, what happens to your data, and your options after canceling.

How Cancellation Works

When you cancel your subscription:

  1. Cancellation is scheduled — Takes effect at the end of your billing period
  2. Access continues — Keep using Firebuzz until period ends
  3. No refunds — All sales are final; no prorated refunds
  4. Data retained — Your data remains accessible during grace period

Canceling Your Subscription

To cancel:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Click Subscription
  3. Select the Plan tab
  4. Click Cancel Subscription
  5. Confirm your cancellation

Only workspace owners can cancel subscriptions. If you're not the owner, contact them to request cancellation.

Cancel at Period End vs. Immediate

Cancel at Period End (Default)

When you cancel, your subscription is set to end at your next billing date:

  • Continue using all features until then
  • No further charges after the current period
  • Can resume subscription before it ends

Immediate Cancellation

Firebuzz does not offer immediate cancellation through self-service. If you need immediate cancellation due to special circumstances, contact support.

What Happens After Cancellation

During Current Period

While your cancellation is pending:

  • Full access to all features
  • Credits continue working normally
  • Team members retain access
  • Landing pages stay live

When Period Ends

Once your subscription officially ends:

  • AI features become unavailable
  • Landing pages may be unpublished
  • Team member access is revoked
  • Data enters retention period

Data Retention

Your data is retained for a grace period after cancellation:

  • Access data in read-only mode
  • Export landing pages and content
  • Resubscribe to restore full access
  • Permanent deletion after grace period

Export any important data before your subscription ends. While we retain data temporarily, you should maintain your own backups.

Resuming Before Cancellation Takes Effect

If you change your mind before your period ends:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription > Plan
  2. Look for "Canceling at period end" status
  3. Click Resume Subscription
  4. Your subscription continues normally

After Full Cancellation

Resubscribing

To resubscribe after your subscription has ended:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Choose a plan
  3. Add payment method
  4. Your subscription begins fresh

What's Restored

When you resubscribe:

  • Access to retained data (if within grace period)
  • Fresh credit allocation
  • Need to re-invite team members

Add-ons and Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • All add-ons cancel automatically
  • No separate cancellation needed
  • Add-on access ends with subscription

Trial Cancellation

If you're on a free trial, cancellation works the same as a regular subscription:

  1. Go to SettingsSubscriptionPlan
  2. Click Cancel Trial
  3. Your trial access continues until the trial period ends
  4. You won't be charged when the trial ends

Since a credit card is required during signup, canceling your trial ensures you won't be charged when the trial period ends.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Canceling your subscription does not result in a refund for any unused portion of your billing period. You retain access until the period ends.
