Going Live
Publish your campaign to production domains and make it available to real visitors.
When you're satisfied with your preview, it's time to go live. This guide covers publishing to production, scheduling, and managing live campaigns.
Once published, your campaign status panel shows production URLs and management options:
Publishing to Production
Immediate Publishing
To make your campaign live immediately:
- Click the Status Button in your campaign header
- Verify there are no validation errors
- Click Publish Now
- Your campaign goes live on all connected domains
What Happens When You Publish
- Campaign status changes to Published
- Campaign is accessible on production domain URLs
- A/B tests start receiving real traffic (if running)
- Analytics begin tracking real visitor data
- Lead capture becomes active
Production URLs
After publishing, your campaign is available at:
Project subdomain:
your-project.firebuzz.io/campaign-slug
Custom domains (if configured):
yourdomain.com/campaign-slug
If your campaign slug is /, the campaign is accessible at the root of your domain (e.g., yourdomain.com/).
Scheduling Publication
Instead of publishing immediately, you can schedule for a future date:
Setting a Schedule
- Click the Status Button
- Click Schedule
- Select the date and time for publication
- Click Confirm Schedule
After Scheduling
- Campaign status changes to Scheduled
- The scheduled date/time is displayed in the status menu
- Campaign will automatically publish at the scheduled time
Managing a Schedule
Reschedule:
- Click the Status Button
- Click Reschedule
- Select a new date and time
Cancel Schedule:
- Click the Status Button
- Click Cancel
- Status reverts to Preview
Publish Early:
- Click the Status Button
- Click Publish Now
- Campaign goes live immediately (schedule is cancelled)
Managing Live Campaigns
Updating a Published Campaign
You can make changes to a live campaign:
- Make your edits in the Flow Builder
- Click the Status Button
- Click Update Preview (to test first)
- Then click Publish Now to update production
Updates to published campaigns take effect immediately. Test significant changes in preview first.
Monitoring Performance
Once published, monitor your campaign:
- Analytics Tab — View visitor counts, conversions, and trends
- A/B Test Results — Track variant performance in real-time
- Lead Data — Review captured form submissions
Completing a Campaign
When your campaign has achieved its goal or reached its end:
- Click the Status Button
- Click Mark as Completed
- Status changes to Completed
What happens when completed:
- Campaign remains accessible to visitors
- A/B tests are paused (no new traffic split)
- Campaign is marked as finished in your campaign list
- Analytics continue to be viewable
Reactivating a Campaign
To bring a completed campaign back to active status:
- Click the Status Button
- Click Reactivate Campaign
- Status changes back to Published
- A/B tests can be resumed
Domain Configuration
Project Subdomain
Every project gets a subdomain on Firebuzz:
- Format:
project-name.firebuzz.io - Always available for all campaigns
- Good for testing and sharing
Custom Domains
For production use, connect your own domains:
- Go to Project Settings → Domains
- Add your custom domain
- Configure DNS records as instructed
- Once verified, campaigns publish to your domain
Multiple custom domains can point to the same project. Your campaign will be accessible on all of them.

"Publish Button Disabled"
Causes:
- Validation errors exist
- Campaign data is still loading
Solutions:
- Check the validation error message in the dropdown
- Fix all errors in the Flow Builder
- Wait for data to finish loading
"Campaign Not Appearing on Domain"
Causes:
- DNS not fully propagated
- Campaign slug conflict
- Domain not verified
Solutions:
- Wait up to 48 hours for DNS propagation
- Check if another campaign uses the same slug
- Verify domain status in Project Settings
"Visitors Seeing Old Version"
Causes:
- Browser/CDN caching
- Updates not published
Solutions:
- Ask visitor to clear cache or use incognito
- Verify you clicked "Publish Now" after making changes
- Wait a few minutes for CDN to update
