Storage & MediaKnowledge base
Creating Knowledge Base
diverse methods to add information to your AI's memory.
There are two main ways to add information to your Knowledge Base: uploading new files or converting existing documents.
Method 1: Uploading New Knowledge
The fastest way to train your AI.
- Go to Storage > Knowledge Base.
- Drag and drop your file (PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD) onto the area.
- Alternatively, upload via the Document Library and check "Enable Knowledge Base".
- The system will automatically start Processing.
- Once the status changes to Indexed, the AI knows the content.
Method 2: Converting Documents
If you have a file in your Document Library that isn't in the Knowledge Base yet:
- Go to Storage > Documents.
- Find the document you want to add.
- Download the document, then re-upload it via the Knowledge Base tab or by checking "Enable Knowledge Base" during upload. (Note: Direct conversion of existing documents is coming soon).
Best Practices
- One Topic per Doc: Keep documents focused. Instead of one giant "Company Manual", upload "Brand Guidelines", "Product Specs", and "Team Structure" as separate files.
- Clear Headings: Use clear titles and headings in your documents. The AI reads structure just like a human does.
- Update Frequently: If your pricing changes, delete the old "Pricing.pdf" entry and upload the new one to prevent AI hallucinations.
