Profile Settings
Update your name, upload a profile picture, and manage account deletion.
Your profile settings let you personalize your Firebuzz account with your name and profile picture. You can also permanently delete your account from this page.
Accessing Profile Settings
To access your profile settings:
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Navigate to Account
- Select the ProfileSecurityWorkspaces
Profile Information
The Profile tab contains your basic account information displayed at the top:
- Profile Avatar: Your current profile picture or initials
- Full Name: Your first and last name
- Email Address: Your primary email address (read-only on this tab)
Your profile information is visible to other team members in shared workspaces. Choose a professional name and photo if you're collaborating with others.
Updating Your Name
To change your first or last name:
- Navigate to Settings → Account → ProfileSecurityWorkspaces
- Find the First Name field: First Name:
- Enter your new first name
- Find the Last Name field: Last Name:
- Enter your new last name
- Click Save Changes
Your name will update immediately across all workspaces and be visible to team members.
Your name appears in workspace member lists, activity logs, and collaboration features. Keep it up to date so teammates know who you are.
Profile Picture
Your profile picture helps identify you in team workspaces and appears throughout the Firebuzz interface.
Upload a Profile Picture
To add or change your profile picture:
- Navigate to Settings → Account → ProfileSecurityWorkspaces
- Click on your current avatar or the upload area
- Select Upload Image
- Choose an image file from your computer
- Wait for the upload to complete
Supported formats:
- PNG, JPG, JPEG
- Maximum file size: 5MB
- Recommended dimensions: 256x256px or larger
Uploaded images are automatically resized and cropped to a square format. For best results, use a square image or crop your photo before uploading.
Default Avatar
If you don't upload a picture, Firebuzz displays your initials in a colored circle:
- Uses the first letter of your first and last name
- Color is automatically assigned based on your name
- Updates automatically when you change your name
Removing Your Profile Picture
To revert to the default initial avatar:
- Click on your current profile picture
- Select Remove Picture
- Confirm the removal
Your avatar will change back to your initials.
Danger Zone: Delete Account
The bottom of the Profile tab contains the account deletion option.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed, including workspaces you own, projects, campaigns, and landing pages.
Before You Delete
Before deleting your account, make sure to:
- Cancel Subscriptions: Stop any active paid subscriptions to avoid charges
- Transfer Ownership: Move workspace ownership to another team member if you're an owner
- Inform Team Members: Let your teammates know you're leaving
- Consider Alternatives: Think about downgrading your plan instead of deleting
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:
- Your profile, email, and account settings
- Personal workspaces you own
- All projects, campaigns, and landing pages
- Analytics and performance data
- Uploaded images, files, and media
- Forms and form submissions
Shared Workspace Impact
- Workspaces You Own: Must transfer ownership or delete the workspace first
- Member Workspaces: You're automatically removed; content remains
- Your Contributions: Content you created may show as "Deleted User"
Deleting Your Account
To permanently delete your account:
- Navigate to Settings → Account → ProfileSecurityWorkspaces
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
- Click Delete Account
- Review the deletion warning
- Enter your password to confirm
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field
- Click Permanently Delete My Account
Deletion is immediate. Your account access is revoked instantly, and all data is permanently deleted within 24 hours. Backups are purged within 30 days.
After Deletion
- Immediate: Account access is revoked
- Within 1 hour: Removed from all workspaces
- Within 24 hours: All data permanently deleted
- Within 30 days: Backups purged from all systems
Alternative to Deletion
If you're not sure about deletion:
- Cancel Subscriptions: Stop paid plans without losing data
- Leave Workspaces: Remove yourself from team workspaces only
- Take a Break: Just stop using the account; your data remains safe
You can always delete later if needed.
